Nagataki offers private detached houses that are up to 400 years old, each with tatami flooring, a fireplace, and a garden view. Each house has its own dining room and a bathroom with a deep soaking bathtub and an electronic bidet. Guests sleep on Japanese futons with warm blankets and receive yukata robes to wear on the property.

The ryokan serves kaiseki-style dinner and Japanese breakfast, prepared by chef Masaya Yoshida, a 14th-generation owner. Meals are delivered course by course to each guest's private house and use local ingredients, with some produce grown on-site. Vegetarian meal options are available upon request.

The property has a communal onsen with windows that open to the surrounding forest, providing a view of the garden. In-room massages can be arranged after dinner. The ryokan also offers an indoor public bath separate for men and women.
